REFUSE GATE - (<Neh. 2:13; 3:13-14; 12:31>; "dung port,"
or "gate," KJV and NIV). A gate of ancient Jerusalem located at the SW
angle of Mt. Zion. It was doubtless so called because of the piles of sweepings
and garbage in the valley of Tophet below. (from New Unger's Bible Dictionary)
